So why offer the services for free? We are nice guys, but that doesn't really pay the rent. We know that there is no such thing as a free lunch. There are 3 reasons why we provide the services for free.
The first reason is that we want you to be a loyal user first before becoming a customer. If the service is not a good fit, you will not use it. This keeps our cancellation rates very very very low which is a good thing.
The second reason is that we want knowledgeable users. By the way, this keeps our technical support costs down to a minimum which makes our tech guys very very very happy (always want to keep them happy).
The third reason our services are free is that "free" is the best marketing tool in the world. There is such a thing as a free lunch... but if you are ok with using a random US phone number, we will be happy to have you as a Free customer. When you are ready to upgrade, you'll ask for it.
We do ask that you tell your friends. Free phone service is better when you can share it.
