The ATA configuration info that we have available can be downloaded below. If you would like to share configuration info for an ATA not listed here, please let us know.
Note: For inbound proxy fields, you will need to enter a domain that is specific to the website you used for registering with us.
If you registered with us through FreeDigits.com, you would use freedigits.net for the inbound proxy. Likewise...
TalkDigits.com = talkdigits.net
MatchDigits.com = matchdigits.net
SIPnumber.com = sipnumber.net
OfficeDigits.com = officedigits.net
If you have an ATA that is not listed here, you can still use any one of these guides to assist you in configuring your equipment. The settings are the same regardless of what ATA you're using.

When you download the Pineapple Softphone it comes pre-configured, and those settings cannot be changed (ie: you can't set it to dial as a different phone number).
TalkDigits users: If you have downloaded the Pineapple softphone and, for some reason, want or need to change your number, you will need to uninstall the existing Pineapple installation from your computer before you download it again with your new TalkDigits number (Windows users: uninstall the application using "Add or Remove Programs" under Control Panel).
If you have trouble with uninstalling, or if you simply want to use a different softphone, download the X-Lite softphone. Configuration for the X-Lite is below.

To configure your X-Lite 3.0 softphone, just follow these simple steps:
| 1. Click on Menu (at the top of the phone) 2. Click on SIP Account Settings 3. Double-click on default, or click "Add..." if you didn't complete the configuration when you first installed the phone 4. Enter the following under the "Account" tab: • Display Name: Your name • Username: Your FreeDigits Number (ie: 6415551212) • Password: Your password Passwords are case sensitive • Authorization User: Leave this blank • Domain: [????]digits.net If you registered with us at... TalkDigits.com: enter talkdigits.net FreeDigits.com: freedigits.net MatchDigits.com: matchdigits.net SIPnumber.com: sipnumber.net OfficeDigits.com: officedigits.net • Register with domain and receive incoming calls: This box must be checked if you want to answer incoming calls on your X-Lite 3.0 • Send Outbound Via : Select "target domain" 5. Enter the following under the "Topology" tab: • STUN Server : Select "Use specified server" and enter stun.freedigits.net Note: The X-Lite 3.0 does not support multiple SIP accounts (you must purchase a similar softphone called eyeBeam) |
